Position: Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics - Multiple Openings
Locations: Sudbury, ON & Timmins, ON

Compensation:

• $30-$35/HR plus expenses
• Company vehicle and laptop

Qualifications:

• Fully Licensed Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic
• Common Core Training (preferably UG)
• Surface and Underground Drilling Training

Expected Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all heavy equipment.
• Responsible to fix any heavy equipment that might break down.
• Follows the instructions given to him by the shop foreman / maintenance manager.
• Repairs and adjusts hydraulic pumps, safety valves, and load packers on garbage and dump trucks.
• Expected to attend special training and familiarization workshops dealing with innovations in heavy equipment operations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Inspects, repairs and adjusts diesel power units, hydraulic systems, injection valves and systems, mold boards, and scarifies on road graders.
• Inspects, adjusts and repairs gasoline and diesel tractors, and hydraulic and cable operated attachments on tractors.
• Repairs and maintains trenching machines and sets proper grade.
