Qualifications & Education:
- An undergraduate degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proficiency with MS Office
Expected Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide Structural Engineering services to the plants
- Coordinate internal and external Structural Engineering services for multi-disciplinary projects at various sites in a manner that will meet business needs and is in accordance with project management principles of Safety, Quality, Scope, Schedule and Cost
- Assist in the development of departmental work plans and schedules and the execution of assigned projects
- Serves as the primary plant Structural support for engineering and project execution items
- Works with the plants to identify, develop and scope out operating projects in sufficient detail to secure engineering or other services as required to create execution documents

- Works with the plants to identify capital projects and identify service groups that will provide Study Managers
- Will function as a Study Manager and /or as a representative of the Plant for a select group of projects
- Periodically reports on progress and budget adherence for engineering and Capital Projects to the Plants ensuring that the following services are delivered effectively to the plants and mines
- Produces small designs quickly and efficiently
- Documents “Tribal Knowledge”
- Provides technical assistance
- Completes and assists with reliability studies
- Provides support to the Maintenance Department
