Qualifications & Education:

• A Business or Commerce Degree
• A Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA or CGA)
• 3+ Years progressive, relevant experience in a resource, processing or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, product costing methods and financial business systems
• Proficiency with MS Office (advanced Excel and Access)

Expected Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide information and analysis with respect to costs, product costs and unit costs for Manitoba Operations Management and Corporate reporting of plan, actual and forecast amounts
• Ensure costs charged to accounts are valid and consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company policies and procedures
• Asst Management in and coordinate the preparation of a quarterly forecast, annual plan and five-year plan for relevant areas
• Follow the Safety Plan developed for the department
