Levert Executive is the largest recruitment agency in Northern Ontario with offices in North Bay, Sudbury and Timmins. Our client base is made up of small, medium and multinational organizations. We have been successfully serving clients and candidates for over 25 years.

Our client is an established family-owned business located in New Liskeard, ON.  They cash crop a 6000 Acre land base of cereals and oilseeds. In order to fill a need in the growing local market for grain handling/ processing and input supply, they are constructing a state of the art facility which will be operational for harvest in 2011. They are looking for an enthusiastic professional to joing their team and to help them continue to grow in this exciting industry.  They are offering competitive wages and employee benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Agricultural or Marketing Degree with 5 years sales and management experience or a two year Agricultural diploma with 7 years sales and management experience
  • Proven sales track record
  • Bilingual (French-English)
  • Sound understanding of the functioning of agricultural commodity markets and contracts
  • Detailed knowledge of various fertilizer materials, crop protection products, seed solutions and successful agronomic practices
  • Must have or willing to work to obtain a Certified Crop Advisor Designation
  • Experience with GMS Systems would be an asset

Expected Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, grow and maintain a new and expanding clientele for our establishing grain elevator / grain processing and crop input supply business
  • Manage logistics fro grain and input shipping/receiving
  • Deal with customers on a daily basis during the growing and harvest seasons
  • Deal with suppliers and negotiate accounts
  • Help develop and implement viable business and marketing plans
  • Manage, negotiate and organize commodity contracts in an efficient and professional manner
  • Assist in the day to day operations of the grain elevator and crop input supply facilities
