Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mining or Civil Technology or  High school diploma with strong skills in math and computer usage and 5-10 years of experience in the mining field including mining construction
• Proficient in Project Management, Construction Estimation and Inspection
• Knowledge of mine construction and ability to work with and modify technical drawings
• Working knowledge of mine process
• Practical knowledge of emergency systems
• Knowledge of front line planning and scheduling
• Effective communication skills
• MS Office, Vulcan, AutoCAD, Microstation, Datamine, Gemcom safety search and Ellipse

Expected Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and refine CAD construction drawings
• Produce bill of materials for drawings
• Order supplies
• Inspect construction sites
• Communicate with contractors and construction crews
• Participate in construction planning meetings
• Recommend improvements to engineering designs
• Demonstrate safe behaviour
