Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or the equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience of vendor oriented customer financing. Also acceptable are candidates with firm knowledge of the sales environment and experience in credit environments
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of email software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to speak French preferred
Expected Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called upon to do so either by design or circumstance.
- Foster practices which are consistent with the company’s values and beliefs. Share knowledge with colleagues and actively work to raise the competence level of the group.
- Work cooperatively with all departments in a spirit of teamwork to address any problem.
- Attend sales meetings and pro-actively ensure that all subsequent actions required are undertaken
- Actively attend customer meetings to market financing
- Continuously monitor market developments in terms of innovative offerings from competitors and pricing changes, i.e. market intelligence, to ensure the programs offerings are competitive and support continuous growth of the business.
- Monitor existing portfolio and actively manage delinquent accounts in accordance with ACF procedures and local legislation.
- Run specific projects in creating and implementing innovative finance packages, tailored to specific equipment or customer segments.
- Share best practices with Financial Sales Managers in other locations/markets.
- Deal structuring and credit guidance including gathering and analyzing relevant information needed to make accurate and timely credit decisions.
- Preparing and designing individual customized financing quotations/solutions.
- Preparing credit proposals and presenting to Credit Committee.
- Ensuring financing transactions are processed in accordance with company standards and in compliance with Canadian law and tax legislation.
- Constantly improve the processes and routines to ensure efficiency and high quality.
- Continuously follow changes in local accounting, legal and tax rules affecting ACF business.
- Ensure timely and correct reporting/accounting of ACF’s Canadian reporting unit.
- Build and maintain required competence to comply with targets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationship with the CCs. Understand the various business needs they have and help develop their business by actively using the financial tools.
- Create a well defined Sales and Marketing strategy. Translate the strategy into a Business Plan, execute and follow-up on the same and ensure set targets being met with.
- Training, advising and supporting the CCs in structuring financial arrangements and providing hands on support in the entire financing process.
