Our client authorized distributor in Ontario for Detroit Diesel & Mercedes-Benz On-Highway Engines, Detroit Diesel, MTU and Mercedes-Benz Off-Highway Engines, DEUTZ engines, MTU Onsite Energy Generator Sets and Allison Transmission. They also have a full compliment of All Makes parts from more than 50 leading manufacturers.

Due to the growth in this market, our client has an immediate, full time opening for a Power Generator Sales Representative. This person will be responsible for providing power generation solutions to customers using a consultative sales approach working with specifying engineers, electrical contractors and end users. Candidate should possess exceptional time management, territory management and communication skills with a proven history of sales plan execution

The successful applicant will have experience in the Power Generation and/or Power Proving industry, and will have an electrical trade’s industry background.

Qualifications:

• Professional sales ability in prospecting, qualifying and closing sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated and results driven.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• B.S. degree preferred, equivalent experience considered.
• 4-6 years previous technical sales experience required.
